TROPHIES & AWARDS

This tournament would not have been possible without the support from Bell Canada. Bell has committed financial resources, prizes and volunteers to ensure that Ottawa is prepared to stage the world's premier hockey tournament. The Bell Capital Cup board of directors would like to extend its sincere appreciation to Bell Canada for its continued support.

Each player will get a gold miniature championship trophy and a Bell Capital Cup championship keepsake.

Each division will feature at least one Skills Competition staged on Friday or Saturday which will include five events; Breakaway Shootout, Powerplay Challenge, Target Shoot, Agility Relay and Team Relay Race. The Skills Competition is one of the highlights of the festival for players, coaches, parents and fans. In some divisions, over 200 players will compete in the Skills Competition during this year's Festival.
The Bell Capital Cup believes that skill development should be the primary focus for our young hockey players. For this reason we feel it is important to celebrate skills and Skill Development and acknowledge and recognize our skilled players. Therefore, at the conclusion of each Algonquin College Skill Competition, the winners in each event will be awarded a take home trophy to celebrate their skills and to provide a life long reminder of their success.
